In Greene County magistrate court Raymond William Wampler of Scranton pleaded guilty Nov. 27 to a charge of theft-fifth degree. A judgment was entered for a $65 fine with a $35 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 court costs.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week of Nov. 25-29 as follows: Bryant Alan Kirton of Ogden, speed, $125; Michael U Segal of Teaneck, NG, Conner Laine Groves of Jefferson, and Joseph Andrew Romare of Ankeny, speed, $150; Thomas Michael Bortz Harper of Jefferson, minor using tobacco- first offense, $50 (no surcharge, no court costs); and Lori Kay Halligan of Jefferson, operation without registration, $50.
Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): Larry Frank Berg of Kiron.
Speed, $40 (6-10 over): Gerald Henry Brewer of Victor, *Sue Ellen Thede of Jefferson, *Crystal Dawn McEver of Ankeny, and *Jennny Elizabeth Carlson of Paton.
Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Thomas Earl Vaughn of Glidden and Marlyn E. Purdie of Jefferson.
Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Jared Dean Dennhardt of Jefferson and *Cullin Reed Flinn of Churdan, speed, $40; Sherrie Lee Cobbs of Clemons, open container of alcohol in a vehicle (passenger), $200; and Phillip Kenneth Alley of Carroll, speed, $100, and open container of alcohol in a vehicle (driver), $200.
The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
